Upper Dolpa Circuit Trek

Overview
The Dolpa Trek is one of Nepal's most remote and breathtaking trekking experiences, offering a unique blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and adventure. The hidden area of Dolpa was first settled by Rokpa farmers and Drokpa nomads from Tibet in the tenth century. It is one of the highest inhabited places on Earth, with dispersed fortress-like villages and monasteries nestled among mountains of harsh, ascetic grandeur. Dolpa is currently part of Nepal, yet it is still culturally and economically firlmy tied to Tibet. This arid high alpine desert, situated in the rain shadow of the Dhaulagiri Himal, is sparsely populated. Dolpa is a land of howling winds, large open spaces, and brilliant sunlight. it is home to solitary monasteries, yak caravans, and the aroma of juniper. This Trek takes you through the Shey Phoksundo National Park, which is home to the breathtaking Phoksundo Lake and the ancient Bon Po culture.
