Shivapuri Peak Day Hike Kathmandu

Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park, located on the northern fringe of the Kathmandu Valley, is a natural sanctuary and one of the best places for day hiking near Kathmandu. The park is home to Shivapuri Peak (2,732 m), the second-highest point on the valley rim, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas and the entire Kathmandu Valley.

From the peak and surrounding viewpoints, hikers can enjoy spectacular Himalayan vistas, including Annapurna (8,091 m), Manaslu (8,163 m), Ganesh Himal (7,422 m), Langtang (7,246 m), Jugal Himal, and Gaurishankar (7,134 m).
