Rara Trek Nepal
Overview
The largest body of water in Nepal, with a water surface area of 10.8 km2, is situated in the Mugu district at an elevation of 2935 meters.
Rara Lake is a sparkling beauty nestled among beautiful forested hills in the heart of Nepal's least visited National Park in the country's remote far-western region. Even though the climb from Jumla is relatively short, it is difficult, passing through serene valleys and enigmatic, magical coniferous forests. The Rara Trek offers stunning scenery, crystal-clear blue waters, lush forests, snow-capped peaks, and a variety of wildlife.
