Lobuche East Climbing

Overview
Lobuche East (6,119 meters) is one of the most popular trekking peaks in the Everest region and was first officially climbed on April 25, 1984. Located close to the famous Everest Base Camp trail, the peak offers an incredible combination of trekking and mountaineering experience. Climbers are rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and many other Himalayan giants.
The climb involves glacier travel, steep snow and ice sections, and a rewarding summit ridge that makes it a perfect introduction to Himalayan peak climbing. Every year, adventurers from around the world come to challenge themselves on this beautiful mountain while experiencing the rich Sherpa culture and stunning landscapes of the Khumbu region. Humanity really saw a giant icy wall and collectively decided, “yes, let’s climb that for fun.” Somehow, it became a very good idea.
