Overview
Kali Gandaki Valley Trek attracts people from all over the world by it is a vast and arid valley , distinguished by eroded canyons, vividly colored stratified rock formations , barren high-altitude deserts and beautiful mountain view. The trail passes through the world’s deepest Gorge of Kali Gandaki with the Dhaulagiri (8176m) and Annapurna (8091m) massifs towering on either side, stunning landscapes, The stone-lined villages of Marpha , Tukuche and Tini, the hilltop Tibetan-style fortress villages of Kagbeni and Jharkot and the natural hot spring Tatopani . For centuries, Tibetan salt, extracted from salt lakes on the Tibetan Plateau, was transported southward along this route. It is a great option for hikers looking for both natural beauty and cultural immersion because of its rich history and diverse culture.
